Explanation of PAC code

A Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) is required to allow the transfer of your mobile telephone number from one service provider to another. To get your PAC number, you should have asked your existing service provider at the time you cancelled your contract with them. If you didn't request a PAC code, or haven't yet cancelled your existing contract, you should contact your existing service provider and ask for the PAC number before continuing.
